Admission Information


Admission Requirements

Applicants for the programme must:


  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Business or other related disciplines and be a graduate of this University or such graduate of another university as the School may approve; or
  • Have advanced marine training with Certificate of Competence 1 (COC 1) recognised by the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore.

The above guidelines indicate the eligibility to apply for the MSc programme. Admission to the programme is on a competitive basis.

*All NTU first degree students graduating from January 2018 onwards will be awarded degrees according to the new classification nomenclature, regardless of their intake year. Please click on the link (Point 5) below for the new nomenclature.

Note:

For applicants whose native language is not English, a good Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score is required. Test dates must be within 2 years or less from the date of your application. IELTS may be submitted in place of TOEFL.​


How to apply

There is only one intake (August) per year. The application period is from November to January.

This is a non-subsidised programme, you are required to apply online.
