Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF)

  • MPA has been co-funding a portion of the course fees for the Master of Science in Maritime Studies under the maritime-related certifiable courses. Singaporeans and Singapore PRs admitted into our MSc (Maritime Studies) programme are eligible to apply, subject to qualifying conditions.
  • Applicants of who are self-sponsored are allowed to apply for MCF, provided that they have a letter of support from their maritime-related company.

    MPA will provide further financial support to the maritime industry in the wake of the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) outbreak, which will take effect from 1 May 2020. For more information, visit MPA’s website here.
  • Note that applications must be applied at least 30 days prior to commencement of programme.

SkillsFuture Study Awards for Sea Transport Sector

The SkillsFuture Study Awards is an initiative under the national SkillsFuture effort to support and encourage early to mid-career Singaporeans deepen their skills in economic sectors. It is a $5,000 monetary award which Singaporeans can use to defray out-of-pocket expenses and can be used on top of existing Government course fee subsidies. Recipients do not need to serve a bond.
