Learning Objective :

Students to gain an insight of the practical aspects of the civil engineering industry.

Course Content :

A 10-week training attachment to civil engineering industry covering the practical aspects of civil engineering planning, design, construction and operation. The training attachment is supervised by both industry supervisor and university tutor.

Learning Outcome :

Upon completion of the course, students should be able:

  • Understand the practical aspects of the civil engineering industry.
  • Gain valuable contacts necessary to give them an edge in the working world upon graduation.​
