MT3007 Industrial Immersion

Learning Objective :​

Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to understand:
(a) The practical aspects of the maritime industry.

Course Content :

A ten-week training attachment to practical aspects of the maritime industry. In addition to providing real-life experience for students to balance their academic education, they also get to interact with professionals in the working environment, setting up valuable contacts necessary to give them an edge in the working world upon graduation. The attachment is supervised by both industrial tutor and university tutor.

Learning Outcome :

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to gain a better understanding of the practical aspects of the maritime industry, and acquire valuable contacts necessary to give them an edge in the working world upon graduation.
