The Academic Mentoring Scheme is implemented in the School of CEE with the following key objectives:
- To provide a channel of feedback from students;
- To keep students informed about university matters and other pertinent development; and
- To help students with subject choices and career guidance
- To establish rapport and encourage interaction between students and academic staff;
The school academic mentoring scheme is coordinated by the Associate Chair (Students) and it complements the service provided by hall counsellors and the professional counsellors at the Student Affairs Office (SAO). An academic mentor is assigned to the student once admitted into the school.
