Research Grants Secured:

As a Principle Investigator (PI), Dr. Wang has acquired over S$2 million (equivalent to around USD 1.4 million) in external research grants since 2010. The majority (about S$1.7 million) was awarded by highly competitive Academic Research Fund (AcRF) Tier 2 Research Grant by Ministry of Education (MOE) of Singapore. The three awarded MOE AcRF Tier 2 research projects are:

  • Urban policies with sustainable transportation systems (2014.05-2017.05)
  • Dynamic traffic management with day-to-day travel behaviour model (2016.07-2019.07)
  • Pedestrian Movement Simulation with Asymmetrical Layout (2017.01-2020.01)
